I've been playing this for 3 days straight. I've just had it out on my desk and playing it run after run. I've successfully survived a few runs, but other runs have gotten me good. This game is so well thought through, so easy to play and put down and come back to later if need be. The art is so good, the themes are awesome, and the play feels rewarding as well as challenging if not punishing at times! I have been recommending this to every single gamer from I have because I cannot get enough of this. It is so fun, and I'm so glad to have it in my collection!
Very fun game. Got the starter bundle. Just did my first play through and it was really cool. I love the card art and the quality of everything was very nice and worth the cost. The game is well designed and easily understood. There is a lot of replay-ability as well. My only constructive criticism is the cards kinda feel thin and delicate, comparing them to Kinfire Delve cards which feel a little sturdier and less flexible. Don't get me wrong the cards are high quality but I worry about accidentally bending them. So I sleeved mine which I would have done anyway. However now they don't fit in the box without removing the plastic insert and being in two piles, which isn't a big deal however now the D20, premium damage tokens, and tracker tokens don't really fit in the box nicely with the deck. So I also got a small cloth bag to hold all of the tokens etc. but it doesn't fit in the box. I got a deck box coming in the mail that will hold everything. So I guess what I'm getting at is they put all this nice work into the box and I can't use it. If they sold a Solus themed deck box big enough for sleeved cards, dice/token drawer, and room for expansions I would 100% buy it. All in all this is a high quality, well thought out game and I very much recommend it to all who love solo sci-fi survival games.
This is the definitive way to experience Solus Lost. I purchased the starter bundle but my vanguard booster set was not included. I reached out to Wolfboy e.g and they got back to me within minutes and sent out the missing pack immediately, excellent customer service. I got the chance to play Solus Lost as the base game and once my vanguard booster arrived i got to experience a more enhanced game, the inclusion of the premium tokens only elevated my game more. Honestly the starter bundle is well worth the price for the value youre getting. I highly recommend
